An Outdoor Recreation Paradise

 

Located at the confluence of the La Plata, San Juan, and Animas rivers in extreme northwestern New Mexico, Farmington is the major industrial and retail center of the entire Four Corners region. Because of its great location and nearly ideal climate, Farmington is an outdoor recreation paradise.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS  

FRIDAY
3pm to 7pm- Rendezvous Check-In
After you get settled into your hotel room, stop by the Rendezvous check-in table. We will be set up just off the hotel lobby, in the breakfast area.

SATURDAY
9am - Funkhana
The Funkana starts the day with a fun test of a few of the driver's and navigator's skills. The end of the Funkana is the start of the Rallye.

10am to 2pm - Rallye Drive
A scenic drive through northwest New Mexico and up into Colorado, with a lunch stop at a winery.

3pm to 6pm - Rendezvous Car Show
After the Rallye we'll all get together to show off our cars, vote for our favorites, and get to know each other a little bit better.

6:30pm - Saturday Evening Dinner
Everyone will get together for an Italian dinner of chicken parmesan with spaghetti, vegetables, and bread sticks.

SUNDAY
9:30am - Rendezvous Awards Banquet
The weekend wraps up with a breakfast brunch in the hotel restaurant. Trophies will be awarded for the winners of Saturday's events, along with a few other things.


Step 1 - RENDEZVOUS REGISTRATION  


In order to properly plan events and meals, registration will close 2 weeks before Rendezvous.  So that means all registrations must be received and fully paid by Friday, September 11th.  Sorry, there won't be any on-site registrations.  

But don't worry, your registration fee is 100% refundable if something comes up at the last minute and you can't make it.  Cancellations will be accepted up until Wednesday, September 23rd (two days before the Rendezvous starts).

Step 2 - HOTEL RESERVATIONS  


Our host hotel for this year's Rendezvous will be the Courtyard by Marriott They have set aside a block of rooms for Rendezvous attendees at a reduced rate.

But this rate is only good up until September 1st, so don't wait too long. Use the link below to reserve your room on-line and get the BAOA rates.

Book Your Hotel Room

Two things to know when booking your room.  The BAOA rate is good for 4 nights, Thursday the 24th through Sunday the 27th, and the Marriott web site automatically picks all 4 nights for you. Make sure you adjust your check-in and check-out dates accordingly.

Also, their web site says it will send you a confirmation email but that may not happen. So be sure to write down your confirmation number.
